The centre is located in South Western Sydney close to Campbelltown, we offer a fun and exciting working environment accommodating up to 46 children every day. The centre features a wide array of indoor and outdoor amenities for the children (and adults too) to enjoy. If you have a passion for child care and childhood education, you will be working in a centre that stimulates the confidence and security of the children, helping them to explore their own individual capabilities. You will also be working with a team of educators committed to shaping and cultivating the minds of our little ones by stimulating their love for learning through play-based activities. Working in the centre will inspire you as the children develop Social connectivity, Emotional confidence, Foundational learning, and Physical health and well-being.

The successful applicant would have the abilities to confidently:

  • Manage the day to day of classroom routines
  • Provide a child safe environment and practices in Child Protection
  • Provide creative learning experiences that are interest based, age appropriate and culturally diverse for our 0-5 year old's.
  • Plan supervise and implement for the program including individual learning stories which are of a high standard.
  • Work closely with the Educational Leader to implement the daily program as well as the School Readiness program.
  • Have extensive knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
  • Ability to network with the local community
  • Confident in forming and maintaining effective partnerships with families and understanding the important role they play in their children's learning.
  • Establish and maintain team relationships with other Educators.

Essential:

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA
  • Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
  • Current Working with Children's Check
  • At least 12 months experience in Early Learning settings (Desirable but not essential)
  • Current teachers registration
