About the Company:
We require a person who is experienced in equipment yard maintenance for our Caloundra machine and haulage depot. We run a fleet of vehicles including articulated dump trucks, excavators, heavy road transport floats, and light vehicles.
About the Role:
This position will provide labouring services to the company's equipment yard at our Caloundra headquarters. This will involve general labouring duties, cleaning maintenance of vehicles, and other yard duties. There is a level of physical fitness required, and much of the work is conducted outdoors. The successful person must have at least a 'C" class drivers license, a safety induction card, and ideally a forklift operating license. The successful person will also need to pass a medical assessment appropriate to the position and drug and alcohol screen when required.
Duties include:-
Maintaining the equipment yard in a presentable and safe manner
Cleaning of earth moving machines road trucks and light vehicles to the required standards on a timely basis
Adhere to WH&S policies and regulations
Promote and practice a safe and productive work environment
Other yard oriented duties as required
Must be able to pass any pre-employment medicals and testing
Ideally the successful applicant will reside within the Sunshine Coast or surrounding region. If you have applied within the last month there will be no need to reapply as your recent application will still be current.
