About the Role

We are seeking an Underground Sampler to join our Geology team. This hands-on role is critical in ensuring the highest ore quality is delivered from our underground operations. You'll be collecting and dispatching geological samples, mapping ore headings, assisting with drill core processing, and supporting our geologists with accurate data capture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mark-up, sampling, and mapping of underground ore headings

  • Collection, preparation and dispatch of geological samples

  • Core yard duties: orientation, photography, cutting, sampling & storage

  • Assist with drill core and sludge sampling programs

  • Accurate data entry into production tracking systems (e.g. DataShed, Excel, LogChief, MPX)

  • Liaise with geologists, jumbo operators, supervisors, and mine crews to ensure ore quality and minimise dilution

  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment and actively participate in safety initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • Current WA "C" Class Driver's Licence

  • Strong safety focus and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Computer literacy (Excel, Word; exposure to mining software desirable)

  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical & provide National Police Clearance

  • Forklift ticket, Senior First Aid, Working at Heights (desirable).
