About The Role
WorkPac are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to join the Rail Network Renewals team based at the 2 Mile site in Karratha/Dampier. This is a FIFO position (residential considered) on a 5/24/3 roster, working 10-hour days. The role is offered as a 12-month duration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage maintenance plans, schedules, and work packages for rolling stock assets, ensuring availability of materials and equipment.
- Coordinate with execution teams, contractors, and suppliers to deliver planned maintenance and projects in line with safety and legislative requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimise planning efficiency and execution outcomes.
Skills And Experience Required
- Demonstrated safety focus with proactive problem-solving skills (5-Whys, RCA, Basic Investigation Tool).
- Previous experience in maintenance planning (rail preferred, or mobile/fixed plant maintenance).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of SAP work management processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent communication, and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- WA Manual C Class Drivers Licence.
