About the Role

As a Senior Banking Consultant in our Retail Banking, you'll play a key role in helping to providing customers with a seamless banking experience, through meeting each customer's end-to-end financial needs and goals across transaction activities, needs based conversations and educating them on the financial solutions available, including digital. They have the knowledge required to complete customer transactions, as well as have in-depth needs based conversations and fulfil products as per their accreditation level. This role is based mainly in branches and will deliver a high standard of customer service to ensure customers are not only satisfied, but strong advocates for ANZ.

You will be part of a collaborative team and will act as a role model and peer coach to deliver the best possible customer experience. You will be passionate about delivering on our Customer Promises to ensure customers leave the branch as strong advocates of ANZ.

Role Type: Secondment (12 Months)

Role Location: Auburn Street, Goulburn NSW 2580

Work Hours: Full Time (40 hours/week)

What will your day look like?

As a Senior Banking Consultant/ Senior Personal Banker, you will have the opportunity to:

• Act as ANZ products initiator and role model,

• Eagerly support the Branch Manager in delivering ANZ's retail strategy, in addition to day-to-day operations for the branch,

• Meet customer needs through the provision of ANZ's range of home loan, insurance, investment products, and transactional services,

• Take responsibility to 'know your customer' from a risk perspective,

• Deliver the desired customer experience by adopting a positive relationship-based, customer centric approach that demonstrates passion for identifying and prioritizing the complete financial needs of customers

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Prior experience in developing strong relationships in a customer focused role

• Significant experience in financial services, preferably within the retail banking sector

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Leadership and coaching capabilities

• Experience in being an influential user and promoter of technology

• Ability to multi-task, highly adaptable to change and ambiguity
