Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Architecture and Leadership
• Define, develop, and govern the organisation's comprehensive SAP technical architecture, ensuring full alignment with business objectives and stringent regulatory mandates.
• Offer expert strategic counsel to senior executive leadership on SAP architecture, roadmaps, and future-state design for informed decision-making.
• Technical Design and Execution
• Architect secure, high-performing, and scalable SAP environments, strictly adhering to industry best practices and global standards.
• Design and deploy advanced SAP solutions to significantly enhance core business processes and operational efficiency.
• Create and maintain critical SAP technical documentation, including blueprints, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps.
• Security, Risk, and Compliance Management
• Proactively identify, analyse, and mitigate technical risks associated with all SAP implementations and ongoing operations.
• Ensure rigorous adherence to all relevant security standards, policies, and regulatory frameworks, including familiarity with ISO 27001 and NIST guidelines.
• Project Oversight and Delivery Excellence
• Provide strong technical leadership for complex, large-scale SAP projects, guaranteeing successful, on-time, and on-budget delivery of technical solutions.
• Collaborate seamlessly with IT teams, business stakeholders, and third-party partners to successfully meet project objectives.
• Team Mentorship and Development
• Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of senior SAP technical specialists, cultivating a high-performance culture focused on continuous technical excellence.
• Offer advanced guidance and technical oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality, sustainable SAP solutions.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
• Partner with executive stakeholders to translate complex business needs into practical and effective SAP technical solutions.
• Masterfully articulate intricate SAP concepts to both technical experts and non-technical audiences, including the executive and board levels.
• Innovation and Thought Leadership
• Maintain up-to-date expertise on the latest SAP trends, emerging technologies, and architectural best practices.
• Champion and drive the adoption of innovative SAP methodologies and technologies to maximise business value.

Essential Qualifications And Expertise
Mandatory Security Clearance

• Active baseline or higher AGSVA security clearance (NV1) is a strict requirement for this position.

Technical and Experience Profile

• Extensive, demonstrable experience as an SAP Technical Architect, specialising in the design and implementation of advanced, complex SAP technical architectures.
• In-depth expertise across key SAP platforms, including SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and SAP Cloud Technologies.
• Deep foundational knowledge of SAP technical architecture principles, best practices, and security services.
• Proficiency with advanced SAP tools such as SAP Solution Manager and SAP Fiori.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Relevant SAP Certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Solution Architect, SAP Certified Technology Associate).
