Technical Production Planner - Mechanical Manufacturing Industry

About the company:

Leading manufacturer in the supply, manufacture,maintenance,cleaning and site service of Heat Exchangers,Oil Coolers,AirCoolers,Plate Heat Exchangers,Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers and Industrial Radiators.

Key responsibilities:

  • Engineering : Thermal design - Able to read and understand data sheets along with mechanical design requirements in understanding AS1210
  • Scheduling : Assisting managers with scheduling projects for the workshop
  • Internal sales : Assess clients' technical requests, liaise with projects team
  • Estimating : Item take off, spreadsheet entries, supplier communication, tender write up
  • Purchasing of goods : Raising purchasing orders under guidance of the manager
Requirements

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a production scheduler in manufacturing
  • Solid mechanical aptitude/background - Trade qualification/degree in mechanical engineering highly advantageous
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Knowledge and understanding of Heat Exchangers
