Company

Your new company is a well-established and recognised recycling company with multiple sites across Queensland. Due to an increase in business and new contracts as well as an upgraded plant they are currently in need of an experienced diesel fitter to look after their varied fleet.

Role

In your role as the diesel fitter, you will be responsible for overseeing a varied fleet of forklifts, trucks, cranes, excavators, loaders etc. You will be performing all preventative and routine maintenance as well as attending o any breakdowns in order to get machinery up and running ASAP.

Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Relevant Australian Recognised Trade Qualifications
  • 3+ years post trade in a similar role
  • Exposure to a variety of heavy machinery
  • In-depth mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
  • Own Tools
  • Ability to work weekends
