Johnson's Asahi is seeking several suitably experienced individuals to join our dynamic team as a Production Team Member at our Dooen Facility.

With a rich history spanning 100 years, Johnsons have been at the forefront of the livestock feed production industry. As a family-owned business, we take pride in our heritage and are committed to maintaining the highest standards. Our success is built on a foundation of genuine care for our customers and staff, which has led to an exceptional work environment with high staff retention.

Our Production Team Members are responsible for ensuring the safe & efficient operation of the hay processing factory within their areas of control during their shift. There are four roles (Loader, String Puller, Plant Operator & Container Loader) and operators will rotate through these according to their skill and experience.

  • Willingness and ability to work as part of a team
  • Self-starter who is responsible, reliable and accountable
  • Good communication skills, both oral & written
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Solid work ethics
  • Commitment to adhering to the safety, quality and environmental requirements of the business
  • Ability to work flexible hours and shift work
  • Forklift licence
  • Previous experience working in a production environment (desirable)
  • Loader Experience will be advantageous; and
  • Ability to actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
