About the role

Join the team at Dowling McCarthy Tyres as a full-time Tyre Fitter and full-time Service Fitter. Based in our Brighton, TAS 7030 location, you will play a crucial role in providing expert tyre fitting services to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Expertly fitting and balancing a wide range of tyres for passenger and commercial vehicles at our workshop and 24/7 off-site service work
  2. Diagnosing and repairing tyre and wheel-related issues
  3. Maintaining workshop equipment and ensuring a clean and organised work environment
  4. Providing exceptional customer service and technical advice
  5. Adhering to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Tyre Fitter or in a similar automotive trades role
  2. Strong technical skills and the ability to diagnose and repair tyre and wheel-related issues
  3. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide expert advice
  4. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
  5. A commitment to workplace health and safety
