About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Finance Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis (2 x 5 hour days per week).

This role will suit someone who can provide essential financial support across accounts, budgeting and reporting as well as confidently navigate financial analysis, build dynamic Excel models. This role is ideal for someone with strong financial administration and technical skills in Excel who wants to make a meaningful impact in a flexible, part-time role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
  • Process supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices, ensuring timely collections.
  • Expense Management
  • Budgeting & Reporting
  • Assist with budget preparation and track performance against budget.
  • Build and maintain Excel-based models.
  • Prepare clear and concise financial reports for management.
  • Financial Analysis & Support
  • Provide insights into financial performance.
  • Monitor cash flow and provide recommendations for optimisation.
  • Develop ad-hoc financial models to support decision-making.
  • Compliance & Record Keeping
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Finance Administrator.
  • High competency in financial analysis and Excel modelling (pivot tables, formulas, charts, scenario/forecast models).
  • Strong knowledge of invoicing, AP/AR, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Proficiency with Xero
  • Understanding of budgeting, cash flow and financial reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all financial work.

Role Details

  • Commitment: 10 hours per week, fixed days and times.
  • Schedule: Mondays and Thursdays, 9:00am – 2:00pm (in-person).
  • Location: Chermside.
  • Reports to: CEO
