We're on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Dog Groomer to join our busy grooming and daycare team. If you love dogs of all shapes and sizes, have a flair for styling, and can keep tails wagging while delivering top-quality grooms – we want to hear from you
About the Role
- Full grooms, clips, and breed-specific styling
- Maintaining a safe, calm, and clean environment for all dogs
- Working alongside a friendly team who truly care about dogs and their wellbeing
- Communicating with pet parents to ensure their pup leaves looking and feeling their best
What We're Looking For
- Previous grooming experience (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
- Confidence handling dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine love for animals
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliability, professionalism, and great customer service skills
Casual rate with flexible part-time & full time hours.
We offer flexible rostering, however our current priority is coverage for
- Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
- & Saturday (fortnightly)
Starting at Award Free (minimum wage)
Opportunity to increase up to $34.47/hr depending on:
- Grooming speed & skill level
- Ability to complete a minimum of 8 dogs per day (with a bather)
- Dog size is factored into scheduling (e.g., larger dogs = longer time slots)
- A bather is usually provided, but groomer must be able to bath & blowdry
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Pay: $30.00 – $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 38 per week
Experience:
- dog grooming: 1 year (Preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driver Licence (Preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
