About the Role:

The Senior Project and Program Officer is responsible for supporting the Crown Lands Program through delivery of strategic projects and programs, designed to improve efficiencies and ensure broader financial and transactional compliance obligations are being met. The role assists in the identification and facilitation of how financial transactions and processes are handled across the Crown Lands Program to ensure that they are efficient and effective and delivered in a timely manner. The incumbent is also responsible for the development and implementation of policies, practices and procedures for Crown lands staff, including financial and asset management and the disposal of Crown land in accordance with all relevant legislation and policy.

Contract:

Contract for up to 30 September 2026

Special Conditions:

  • May be required to participate in responses to state emergencies or associated duties.
  • Current class "C" driver's licence and willingness to drive is desirable.
  • Some intra-state travel may be required.
  • Some out of hours work may be required.
  • You must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or provide evidence that you hold a valid working visa that allows you to work in Australia without restrictions.
  • Prior to being employed, the successful applicant will be required to obtain a National Police Check.

Remuneration:

ASO6 $98,478 min - $104,165 max p.a.
