Joji is Hiring Demi Chefs

Joji is a stunning rooftop restaurant and bar in the heart of the city, surrounded by ample public transport, making it easy to get to and from work. We're preparing for a busy spring and summer season and are looking for a skilled and passionate Demi Chef to join our kitchen team.

This role is perfect for someone looking for consistent hours in a vibrant, professional environment—whether you're building your career in hospitality or looking for flexible part-time work.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assisting senior chefs with preparation and service
  • Cooking and presenting dishes to a high standard
  • Maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and food safety in the kitchen
  • Supporting smooth operations during busy service periods
  • Bringing creativity and consistency to the role

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working as a Demi Chef (or similar role)
  • Experience with Japanese cuisine is preferred
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work well under pressure
  • A team player with attention to detail and pride in their work
  • Reliability and availability for up to 24 hours per week

This role could suit a student visa holder, with up to 24 hours of work available. For the right candidate, a full-time opportunity may also be considered.
