Cleaner – Automation Area (Morning Shift 6am – 2pm, Monday–Friday)

We're on the lookout for a reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive Cleaner to keep our high-tech Automation Area sparkling clean and running smoothly.

This morning shift position 6am – 2pm, Monday to Friday is ideal for early risers who take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace — and enjoy having their afternoons free.

What You'll Be Doing:

Perform routine and scheduled cleaning across the automation area, including:

  • Floors (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming)
  • Equipment exteriors (careful surface wiping)
  • High-touch surfaces (control panels, handrails, etc.)

  • Glass partitions, walls, and signage

  • Use approved cleaning agents and tools designed for sensitive automation environments

  • Follow all safety and site access procedures
  • Report any hazards, spills, or equipment malfunctions promptly
  • Replenish consumables (e.g. hand sanitiser, wipes) in automation zones
  • Support deep cleans and shutdown cleaning activities
  • Maintain accurate cleaning logs and checklists
  • Work closely with the Automation & Facilities teams to ensure minimal disruption to operations

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous industrial or commercial cleaning experience (bonus if in automation or manufacturing)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Understanding of WHS (Work Health & Safety) practices
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • Physically fit and capable of manual tasks
  • Willingness to wear PPE and follow site protocols
  • Great communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
