First Class Welders Vacancy for our Client in Australia

Our client is currently on the lookout for highly skilled and experienced First Class Welders. This critical role is ideal for first class welders who excels in precision welding techniques and is dedicated to achieving the highest standards of workmanship. The selected candidates will be integral in fabricating and repairing a wide range of metal products, using advanced welding techniques to ensure durability and integrity.

 

Essential Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a First Class Welder, showcasing expertise in various welding processes and the ability to work with a range of metals.Required to hold relevant welding certifications, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent, accredited within Australia. (TRA)Applicants must provide professional references, latest payslips, a valid passport, and a clear police record as part of their application.  

Core Responsibilities:

Perform advanced welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and other welding techniques to fabricate and repair metal products according to specifications.Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately gauge project requirements.Conduct quality control checks to ensure welds meet or exceed industry standards and project specifications.Maintain and calibrate welding equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance.Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to refine product designs for manufacturability.Implement best practices in welding and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.Keep detailed records of all welding projects, including materials used, time spent, and any challenges encountered.  

Skills and Expertise:

Proven proficiency in a variety of welding techniques, with a focus on precision and quality.Advanced understanding of metallurgy and the properties of different metals.Strong ability to read, understand, and execute instructions from technical drawings and blueprints.Commitment to excellence in workmanship with a keen eye for detail.Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a readiness to share knowledge and assist colleaguesA dedication to ongoing professional development in welding technologies and safety standards.
