In this role, you will lead technical modelling, analysis, and strategic recommendations that support the secure, reliable and efficient transition of the electricity transmission system for Transgrid and its customers. You will focus on the medium-term planning horizon, identifying, analysing and addressing emerging challenges such as minimum operational demand, shifting generation and load patterns, and the timing of major transmission projects.

  • Identifying system risks and collaborating with stakeholders to implement mitigation strategies
  • Preparing clear, concise reports and briefings for executives, boards, and non-technical audiences
  • Representing Transgrid in industry forums and contributing to policy and reform initiatives
  • Mentoring engineers and fostering a high-performance, collaborative team culture
