About the Role You'll conduct detailed investigations into building and structural failures, including storm, fire, foundation, and construction issues. Working across diverse projects, you'll perform site inspections, assess building documentation, identify root causes, and prepare clear, evidence-based technical reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct forensic engineering assessments on residential, commercial & industrial sites
  • Analyse structural failures, building defects, and material performance
  • Prepare expert reports for insurance, legal and construction clients
  • Manage multiple projects and liaise directly with clients and stakeholders
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative team culture

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (CPEng preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years' post-graduate experience in structural or forensic engineering
  • Strong technical writing, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Confident communicator with client-facing experience
