Field Planner

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Field Planner, you will be responsible for the co-ordination and execution of fielding Anduril's Ghost Shark, an extra large fully autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV), for the Australian Navy. Working across Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Maintenance you will oversee and support forward logistics, site establishment, scheduling and rostering, maintenance & repairs, field inventory management, and reverse logistics. Your role is central to ensuring effective customer and mission success, shaping the future success of Anduril's Ghost Shark Program in Australia.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Collaborate cross-functionally across Anduril and develop strong working relationships with supply chain, logistics, engineering, and maintenance to ensure the successful execution of all deployments and field operations.
• Own and flawlessly execute one-off deployments and continuous field operations. You will be asked to own and manage the co-ordination of field operations and one off deployments.
• Communicate effectively to keep internal and external teams informed at all times. Use the necessary tools (JIRA, Oracle) and channels (Slack, email, meetings) to ensure stakeholders understand what needs to be accomplished and when.
• Obsess over the details and create structured plans for each deployment and field operations cycle to ensure that people and hardware are in the right place at the right time. Anduril operations require white glove service where there are no second chances or do-overs.
• Problem solve and remove obstacles for the team and internal and external partners. Know how to think critically and engage the right teams to help.
• Be a dedicated team player, willing to take on any task, no matter how small, and contribute to the overall success of the team by rolling up your sleeves and getting the job done.
• Drive for continuous improvement and consistently look for ways to improve Anduril's processes. There are constantly new challenges, so always look for ways to ease the burden on our team and customers.

• 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or project management.
• A background in balancing concurrent complex projects or tasks. Preferred in a manufacturing or hardware environment.
• Requires a relentless mindset to identify, pursue, and engage the right stakeholders - cutting through ambiguity and organizational silos to ensure the mission gets done.
• Strong skills in organizing, planning, scheduling, and balancing personnel workloads to meet rigorous deadlines and milestones.
• Great communication, initiative, and interpersonal skills are required to enable an effective interface with other departments, management, customers, and government representatives.
• Proven ability to problem-solve and remove obstacles for your teams; willing to roll up your sleeves and tackle any challenge.
• Customer-focused mindset with a track record of delivering high-quality results in fast-paced or ambiguous environments.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a NV2 security clearance

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
