Location: Darwin

Primary Objective: Applies advanced nursing/midwifery knowledge, skills, attributes and abilities within a specified area of clinical practice in therapeutic and professional relationships with individuals, as well as with families, groups and communities. As part of the Alcohol and Other Drugs multi-disciplinary Hospital Liaison and Access Team, the applicant is required to rotate between various teams to support clinical need. They will conduct a range of assessments, provide therapeutic interventions, care coordination and education on issues relating to addiction and treatment options to staff, clients, and family members including other agencies and community services using evidenced based practice. The applicant is required to have a working knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and AOD theoretical frameworks.
