The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-driven Finance Analyst
to join our Finance team. This role will provide hands-on support across payroll, accounts, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance, contributing directly to the

financial health and decision-making of the business.

Salary: $76,000 - $80,000

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Payroll & Compliance
    : Process fortnightly payroll, superannuation contributions, payroll tax lodgments, and employee terminations. Manage child support deductions and FBT reporting requirements.
  • Accounts & Banking
    : Process payments and invoices, verify supplier records, reconcile accounts, and manage debtors including dishonored cheques and account discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting
    : Prepare cash flow and stock value reports, generate monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, and variance reports. Assist in preparing and formulating budgets and forecasts as well as accounting policies. Preparing financial statements for presentation to boards of directors, management and governing and statutory bodies.
  • Tax & BAS
    : Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly BAS, reconcile tax payments, and ensure compliance with legislation and company policies.
  • General Finance Support
    : Maintain accurate financial records, assist in process improvement initiatives, and support the Commercial Manager and AMD accountants with reporting and analysis.

About You

To be successful, you will bring:

  • Previous experience in a Finance Analyst or similar accounting/finance role
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Solid knowledge of payroll processes and accounting principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Reckon/QuickBooks experience desirable)
  • The ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights clearly
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the flexibility to assist across a variety of finance functions
