About the role

As a Retail Sales Consultant at Carpet Court, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and expertise to our clients in our Jindabyne, NSW showroom. We are seeking highly motivated and personable individuals to join our team in both full-time and part-time capacities. In this dynamic retail environment, you will be responsible for assisting customers throughout their purchasing journey, from product selection to finalising sales.

What you'll be doing

• Provide personalised and attentive customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Demonstrate deep product knowledge to guide customers in selecting the perfect flooring solutions for their needs
• Assist customers with measuring, quoting, and ordering processes
• Maintain showroom presentation and merchandising standards
• Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store
• Participate in regular training to stay up-to-date with the latest product offerings and sales techniques

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role, preferably within the home improvement or flooring industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for providing exceptional customer service and a drive to exceed customer expectations
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including Saturday mornings.
