Job Details

The department seeks an experienced Cloud Integration Specialist to support infrastructure engineering efforts with a focus on authentication and integration of identity solutions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver SME advice on cloud solutions and identity integration

  • Maintain, support, and troubleshoot cloud-based systems

  • Collaborate with agile project teams and technical leads to meet Health objectives

  • Ensure system alignment with requirements, performance, and sustainability

  • Apply departmental standards for AWS, GCP, VMWare, F5, and Azure integration

  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ensure alignment of technical solutions with business goals

  • Contribute to knowledge and skill transfer initiatives

  • Perform any additional tasks as directed

Selection Criteria

Essential Criteria

  1. Knowledge and demonstrated experience in the implementation and management of services hosted in Google Cloud services at enterprise level.

  2. A level of understanding of inter-cloud and/or on-prem solutions including integration with identity and security elements.

  3. Experience in CI/CD pipeline and automation practices, where practical.

  4. Show strong commitment to learning and self-development, embracing challenging new opportunities.

  5. Great communication skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders internal and external.

  6. Working knowledge of ICT Service Delivery and best practices by having experience in application support, operations, incident and change management within a medium/large size organisation.

Desirable Criteria

  1. Work cohesively with our vendors including collaboration and escalation to account managers where appropriate.
