Family Housekeeper

A professional family living close to the city is seeking a capable and trustworthy housekeeper to assist with home duties for 25 hours per week. The household includes two working adults, teenage children, two dogs, and a cat.
This role is well-suited to someone experienced in managing a busy family home. Note: Cleaners are separately engaged.

Key Responsibilities

  • Laundry: washing, folding, ironing, and coordinating dry-cleaning
  • General tidying of kitchen, living areas, and occasional light cleaning (e.g. wiping benches, light vacuuming, putting away clothes)
  • Fridge management and healthy meal prep assistance
  • Changing bed linen (fortnightly)
  • School pick-ups and errands as needed
  • Light upkeep of outdoor areas (watering pot plants, sweeping pavers, etc.)

Along with being reliable, loyal and trustworthy, a successful candidate will demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Punctual
  • Demonstrated housekeeping/home management experience
  • Friendly, helpful nature with a service mindset
  • High attention to detail
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Current police clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent personal and professional references

Position Details

  • 25 hours per week across at least three weekdays
  • Not a live-in role
  • Vehicle provided for work-related tasks
