About the role

Remote Water Treatment Services is seeking an experienced Plumber or candidate with previous pipework experience to join our team in Brisbane, Queensland. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial plumbing projects in the local area.

What you'll be doing

  1. Carrying out general plumbing installation, maintenance and repair work
  2. Diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues
  3. Installing and repairing pipes, fittings, fixtures and appliances
  4. Responding to emergency call-outs as required
  5. Providing exceptional customer service
  6. Adhering to all health and safety regulations
  7. Maintaining accurate records and documentation

What we're looking for

  1. Formal qualifications in plumbing or relevant trade experience
  2. Minimum 1-2 years of plumbing experience, preferably in mining or mechanical sector
  3. Alternatively, 2-3 years of high-level Trades Assistant experience in water plant construction or piping
  4. Strong practical skills and technical knowledge of plumbing systems
  5. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
  6. Commitment to providing high-quality work and customer service
  7. Strong time management and organisational skills
  8. Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team
  9. Willingness to undergo a police check and hold a current driver's licence
  10. Australian work rights assessed on a case-by-case basis with flexibility to work FIFO within Australia
