About the role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Cleaner / Housekeeper to join the KMD Property Services' team in Melbourne, VIC. This is a contract position, offering flexible work hours to accommodate your schedule. As a Cleaner / Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of residential and commercial properties to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

  1. Thoroughly clean and sanitize all surfaces, including floors, windows, bathrooms, and kitchens
  2. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings
  3. Replenish consumable items such as soap, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies

  4. Strip beds and remake with fresh linen.

  5. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and ensure properties are left in immaculate condition

  6. Adhere to all health and safety protocols and procedures
  7. Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the property owner or manager

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a Cleaner, Housekeeper, or in a similar role
  2. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently and independently
  3. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
  4. Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
  5. Ability to work during the week and weekends as required
  6. Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
  7. Knowledge of safe and effective cleaning practices and the use of cleaning equipment and supplies
