ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Auto Electrician at Tommy Campers your role will see you responsible for meeting day to day production requirements on our slide-on campers and ute trays.  Part of this role will include wiring in ute trays and campers during customer fitments, as well as assisting with product improvement and designing various custom requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

·       Manufacturing and testing looms and power panels for stock.

·       Electrical fit out of campers and canopies.

·       Operating 3D printer to manufacture brackets/mounts.

·       Working with Draftsman to update design changes.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

A candidate who will bring:

·       Trade qualification preferred but not essential.

·       High Level of Computer Literacy

·       Expertise in installing and maintaining automotive electrical systems.

·       Proven ability to diagnose electrical issues in wiring, lighting, and electronic systems.

·       Knowledge of the latest automotive technology and industry standards.

·       Full Australian working rights and a valid driver's license.

·       Strong attention to detail.

·       High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and able to work in a team environment also unsupervised.
