Part-time – 4 days/week – Day shifts

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker / Carer to assist an NDIS participant in Chelsea, VIC. This role involves daily living support, transport, meal preparation, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport to appointments and social activities
  • Meal preparation (gluten-free cooking skills required)
  • Light household cleaning (once a week)
  • Companionship and friendly conversation
  • Joining community activities (women's group, knitting, exercise, spiritual gatherings)

Requirements:

  • Female applicants encouraged to apply (due to personal care and privacy needs – Equal Opportunity Act 2010, VIC)
  • Previous care/support work experience (NDIS experience desirable)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physically fit for walking and light activities
  • Reliable car and valid driver's licence
  • Comfortable working in a home with a male housemate
