Assistant Director – Join our leadership team

Are you a passionate early childhood professional ready to take the next step in your career?

We're seeking a dedicated Assistant Director to join our dynamic team and help lead a service that truly values relationships, community, and quality care and education.

As Assistant Director, you'll work closely with out Center Director and leadership team to ensure the service continues to thrive. You'll bring a positive professional presence, supporting educators and delivering meaningful programs, maintaining compliance, and building a warm and connected community for our children and families.

  • Someone who builds strong, trusting relationships with families and our local community, fostering genuine partnerships that make our centre feel like home.
  • A keen eye for quality care and compliance, with a solid understanding of the National Quality Framework and early childhood best practices.
  • A team player who leads with empathy, collaboration, and a solution-focused mindset.
  • A confident communicator who can support operations, assist with enrolments, and help keep the day running smoothly.
  • A person whom holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and has previously had experience at either a Room Leader level or Assistant Centre Director level

What You'll Do:

  • Support the Director in leading daily operations and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Mentor and support educators to deliver exceptional educational programs.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with families, children, and the community.
  • Drive continuous improvement and uphold a culture of quality, inclusion, and respect.
  • Step into leadership responsibilities when the Director is away.
