About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced Senior API Tester who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in ensuring high-quality software delivery. You'll play a hands-on role in designing, executing, and managing functional API tests across complex enterprise systems.

This role sits within a cross-functional Agile team and will suit someone who's confident working with APIs from a functional testing perspective - validating integrations, verifying request/response payloads, and ensuring systems communicate effectively across the full end-to-end process.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years' experience in Software Testing / Quality Engineering.
  • Strong background in API Testing (REST / SOAP) with tools such as Postman, SoapUI, ReadyAPI, or Swagger.
  • Skilled in designing and executing functional and integration tests across complex systems.
  • ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst (or equivalent) certification.
  • Proficient in OpenText ALM for test case management and defect tracking.
  • Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, Iterative, Waterfall, and CI/CD (DevOps) delivery models.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
