We're seeking a highly skilled
Senior Power BI Specialist
for this well known utilities organisation to deliver impactful, customer-focused analytics using modern Azure data platforms.

In this hands-on, business-facing role, you'll work closely with teams across Enterprise Data & Analytics, Customer Technology, and Retail Services to transform complex customer and billing data into intuitive dashboards and insights that drive better decision-making and service outcomes.

Key activities

  • Design, build, and maintain robust Power BI semantic models, leveraging DAX and Power Query, and integrating data from Azure Databricks in line with best-practice data governance and coding standards.
  • Deliver intuitive, high-impact Power BI dashboards that enable self-service analytics and faster, more confident data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, Asset Services, business units, and external vendors to understand reporting needs and drive strong adoption of analytics solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, reusable, and well-governed data solutions.

Skills And Experience

  • Extensive experience as a Senior Power BI Specialist or Reporting Analyst in a complex, enterprise environment.
  • Deep expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and dimensional data modelling.
  • Strong experience working with Azure data services, particularly Azure Databricks.
  • Proven ability to engage confidently with business stakeholders and translate complex requirements into clear, actionable insights.
  • A collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for customer-focused reporting.
