We're looking for a creative and strategic
Social Media Specialist

You'll be the voice and vision behind our digital presence — bringing our brand, team, and treatments to life through authentic and engaging content.

Your key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our Marketing Manager to bring campaign ideas and creative direction to life – aligning content with seasonal promotions, brand strategy, and business goals.
• Plan, create, and publish engaging content across Instagram and TikTok, including Reels, Stories, and in-feed posts that reflect the Empowering Beauty brand and clinic experience.
• Capture and edit photo and video content that highlights our treatments, results, and client journeys – maintaining a polished yet authentic look and feel.
• Curate a strategic mix of educational, promotional, and trend-led content designed to inspire engagement, build trust, and drive bookings.
• Collaborate with therapists, reception, and the wider team to produce genuine behind-the-scenes and lifestyle content that showcases the clinic culture and client experience.
• Manage day-to-day posting and community interaction, ensuring timely engagement, consistent brand voice, and meaningful connections through comments and DMs.
• Coordinate and support campaign launches and product promotions, ensuring content and paid ads are delivered on time and aligned with key messaging.
• Monitor and analyse performance using tools such as Meta and Instagram Insights – reporting monthly on engagement, reach, growth, and conversions, and adapting strategy accordingly.
• Stay ahead of social trends and platform updates, testing new formats, audio trends, and creative ideas to keep the brand fresh and relevant.
• Contribute to brand storytelling through thoughtful content, education, and client-focused features that strengthen Empowering Beauty's online presence and reputation.
• Occasional travel between our Alphington and Ringwood clinics to capture content and collaborate with both teams.

What we're looking for:

• At least 2 years experience in content curation and social media management, ideally within the beauty, wellness, or creative industries — or at least a genuine passion for beauty and storytelling.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Meta Business Suite, with confidence in creating Reels and short-form video content.
• Proficient in Canva, CapCut, Splice, or similar design and editing tools.
• A keen eye for aesthetic detail, storytelling, and trends — you know what makes content scroll-stopping.
• Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage a content calendar and meet campaign deadlines.
• A natural collaborator who enjoys working within a close-knit team — and is comfortable being both behind and in front of the camera when needed.

This is a
part-time, on-site role (3 days per week)
based in
Alphington, VIC
, with a salary of
$70,000 per annum, pro-rated
, and potential to grow into a full-time position after 12 months.
