To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Prepare and serve meals to aged care residents in accordance with dietary requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Assist with dishwashing, cleaning, and waste disposal.
  • Follow food safety protocols and infection control procedures.
  • Support the kitchen team with stock rotation and inventory management.
  • Deliver meals to residents with care and respect.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • Recent police check

  • Appropriate Food safe certification
