Medical Receptionist

Roleystone Family Medical Centre is an accredited general practice located in Roleystone looking for a friendly, professional, flexible and well-presented Medical Receptionist.

Desirable skills:

• Professional, courteous, with a great telephone manner
• Good computer skills
• Working knowledge of Medicare and Best Practice software or similar
• Police Clearance
• Current First Aid
• Professional appearance

Some of the duties and responsibilities include:

• Opening and closing the clinic
• Welcoming and greeting patients
• Managing telephone enquiries in a polite and helpful manner
• Scheduling and confirming patient appointments, including recalls and reminders
• Triaging patients and monitoring the waiting room
• Processing incoming and outgoing mail, emails and faxes, scanning and delegating documents
• Processing payments and patient accounts
• Assisting practitioners as needed

Previous medical reception experience is preferable but not essential.
