The Opportunity

We are actively seeking a new Electrical Senior Project Engineer to join our growing Water sector in our Energy and Utilities business unit.

The responsibility of the Senior Project Engineer is to identify, develop & implement work to effectively deliver their respective component or discipline for the projects they are engaged on and closely work with Design Leads/Project Managers/Commissioning Leads and other team members SPE manage & leads the engineering and delivery effort on a wide range of projects, from shop drawing design and support, through to delivery detail and documentation, and construction & commissioning activities on projects in Power, Water and Renewable market sectors.

What we are looking for 

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering at a Bachelor Level 
  • Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) Qualification or demonstration of working towards by obtaining within the next 6 months
  • Project engineering experience within the Industrial or commercial industry a minimum of 7 years 
  • Experience managing subcontractors
  • Reviewing, development construction drawings and documentation 
  • Accurate record keeping and documentation
  • Financial management and reporting, including budgeting
  • Quality assurance and controls in project delivery
