TLS Productions are seeking Experienced - Sound Engineer to join our talented team in Welshpool, WA. This is a full-time position that will play a vital role in supporting the company's programming and production activities.
This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional extended hours for events
What you'll be doing
- Set up, operate and maintain audio, audiovisual and lighting equipment for a range of events and productions
- Systems Engineer & Systems Designer
- Operate Bands, Corporate events, FOH & monitors
- Design and install PA Systems
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to ensure seamless event delivery
- Collaborate with the production team to understand technical requirements and deliver exceptional event experiences
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of our technical capabilities
- Mentor and train junior technicians to share your expertise
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an audio, AV or lighting technician, ideally in the events or media production industry
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on skills in the setup and operation of a wide range of audio, AV and lighting equipment
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a production team while also demonstrating independent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
- A passion for delivering high-quality technical solutions and exceptional event experiences
- Required certifications: Working at Heights, Test and Tag Electrical certification
- Proficiency in industry-standard software including d&b ArrayCalc, SMAART, and Q-SYS Designer
- Physical ability to lift and carry equipment up to 25kg and work at heights
- Valid Australian driver's licence and White Card (Construction Induction Card)
