Sommelier

Rick Shores is one of Australia's most iconic beachfront restaurants, known for its award-winning modern Asian dining, oceanfront setting, and world-class service. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sommelier to join our leadership team and help us deliver exceptional experiences for both our valued guests and team.

You will participate in regular on-the-job sommelier training to develop your service skills and wine knowledge while always striving for continuous improvement across all aspects of your role and venue operations. You will be exposed to supplier tastings, premium masterclasses, and education on stock control.

Who We Are Looking For

· You have a strong passion for wine and the hospitality industry

· WSET/CMS education is highly valued

· Experience in FOH management is highly valued

· Previous experience in a FOH/wine position within a venue of a similar style is essential

· An ability to build relationships with our team and customers and contribute to a positive workplace culture

· A genuine desire to learn and expand your knowledge is critical

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
