With over 20 years of experience working with clients from residential, commercial, mining, manufacturing and government, we are seeking a new Electrician to join our dependable and industrious team.

The Position

We are seeking dedicated, experienced and proactive Electrician to provide exceptional services surrounding electrical, data, installation and maintenance procedures in the Wollongong, Metro and/or Southern Highlands Region region of NSW.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform electrical works across various sites and industries including but not limited to;
  • Installation and maintenance of VSD/Soft Starters and control equipment
  • Fault finding, preventative maintenance and RCD, appliance and Emergency Stop testing
  • Attend and fault find breakdowns
  • Design and install various electrical apparatuses, cabling and support systems
  • Identify and conduct works on site in accordance with requests from clients.
  • Coordinate and carry out purchasing and installation of materials for sites.
  • Submit Job Cards and/or Service Reports and relevant documentation as required.
  • Hold high-standard, personal accountability for relevant internal and external correspondence.
  • Abide by Mining Industry and Australian Standards AS/NSZ 3000 & 2007 regulations
  • Uphold rules and regulations associated with State, Site and company WHS policies and procedures.
  • Attend and engage in various company and site based meetings.
  • Champion and represent CES values of respect, accountability, innovation, quality, safety, sustainability and collaboration.

Selection Criteria

Essential

  • Permanent rights to work in Australia
  • Current Electrical licence
  • Experience in plant and electrical installations in an industrial environment
  • Experience in problem solving and fault-finding in electrical circuits
  • Current driver's licence
  • Current CPR & LVR certificate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Experience:

  • trade: 2 years (Preferred)

  • Full Driver Licence (Required)
