About the Role:

This is a great opportunity to be part of the success story of Howard Park Wines and contribute to it's production of premium wines. Your experience and knowledge in the trade will ensure plant and equipment at our Margaret River winery runs smoothly while keeping down time to a minimum.

Working with a focus on our bottling and winery production departments, the successful candidate will undertake repairs, maintenance and service work on our two bottling lines, provide trade maintenance in the winery and other areas on site as required. You will have a proven ability to analyse tasks, define priorities and will be required to carry out regular preventative maintenance and breakdown support. Experience and knowledge of working with stainless steel and regular steel work will be highly regarded.

Prerequisites:

  • 5 + years experience in a plant and equipment maintenance role
  • Winery or equivalent food preparation industry experience
  • Machining and fabrication skills, specifically on a lathe and tig welding with stainless steel
  • The ability to understand and troubleshoot mechanical problems
  • Mechanical fitting skills including mechanical seals, bearings, gearboxes electrical motors etc.
