Due to continued growth, we are seeking skilled and driven Mechanical Technicians and Trade Assistants to join our high-performing teams on major shutdowns in

Mechanical Technicians / Mechanical Trade Assistants (TA) play a key role in supporting fitters and other tradespeople with the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment in Oil & Gas facilities. This hands-on role helps ensure equipment remains safe, reliable, and operating to a high standard.

Point of Hire: Perth (WA), Adelaide (SA), Melbourne (VIC), Sydney (NSW), Canberra (ACT), Brisbane (QLD), Darwin (NT), and Hobart (TAS).

Duties will include but not limited to

• Assisting and supporting Mechanical Tradespeople on various scopes
• Flange Management - Hy-Torque and Tensioning
• Heat Exchanger maintenance services
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and P&IDs
• Dealing with hazardous materials
• Assisting other disciplines with an alternative scope outside of mechanical works
• Ability to work within a team environment while capable of working unsupervised
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent Communication skills
• Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety, including participating in safety documentation requirements

Requirements & Experience Needed

• 1-2 years' experience within the Oil & Gas industry or a related sector
• Ability to work shift work (Day/Night/Weekends)
• Flange Management Training (advantageous)
• Working at Heights certificate (within 2 years - essential)
• Confined Space Entry certificate (within 2 years - essential)
• Gas Test Atmosphere (within 2 years – essential)
• Breathing Apparatus certificate (desirable)
• Current Drivers Licence (highly desirable)
• High Risk Work License (advantageous)
• Construction Induction (White Card)
• Full Australian work rights
