HSEQ Advisor – FIFO 3/1 Roster (Merriwa, NSW)

Renewables Project – Starting 5 January

Full-Time Permanent Position

Join Solar X on our newest large-scale renewables project in Merriwa, NSW. We are seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to support our onsite Health, Safety, Environment & Quality functions and drive a strong safety culture across the project.

This is a full-time permanent FIFO position on a 3-week on / 1 week off roster, with free camp accommodation and meals provided, making it an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic site-based environment.

About the Role

As the HSEQ Advisor, you will:

  • Implement and monitor HSEQ systems, ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and ISO standards
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, incident investigations and safety training
  • Support emergency management planning and environmental compliance
  • Provide guidance to teams on safe work practices and continuous improvement
  • Promote proactive engagement and a strong safety culture across the site

What You'll Need

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated HSEQ experience, ideally in construction or heavy industry
  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation and ISO 45001 / 14001 / 9001
  • Experience with incident investigations, audits and safety systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Australian Driver's Licence
  • Full working rights in Australia
