The Role

We're hiring a Labourer/Rig Hand to join our Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) crew. This is a Fly-In-Fly-Out role on a 2:1 or 2:2 roster, depending on the project. Point of hire is Wangaratta or any major city.

This is an entry-level position where you'll be trained to become a skilled HDD crew member. You will have the opportunity to work towards Certifications in Drilling Operations while on the job and obtain a range of tickets and licences. What it takes:

  • Current drivers licence
  • White Card
  • Willing to work in remote locations and ability to work 12 hour days
  • Willing to work on rosters 2:1 or 2:2
  • Physically fit
  • Enjoy working outdoors in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt to an ever-changing work environment safely & efficiently
  • Commitment to Company HSE regulations and site-specific rules
  • Able to pass a mine site Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen
  • Able to provide National Police Clearance
  • Must have existing Australian work rights
