We're seeking a skilled and reliable Chef/Cook to join our team and deliver consistent, high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of meals and snacks that meet aged care standards while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives under pressure, takes pride in their workspace, and understands the importance of food safety and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals to meet daily café demand
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and orderly kitchen at all times
• Follow food safety protocols and aged care dietary requirements
• Collaborate with the café team to ensure smooth service
• Assist with stock rotation and kitchen organisation

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in a busy café or commercial kitchen
• Strong work ethic and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of aged care food service standards (desirable)
• Availability for weekday shifts; occasional weekends as required
