About the role

Are you passionate about working with children and supporting their early development? Big Talent is seeking an enthusiastic Trainee to join our child care centre in North Ryde, NSW. This is a full-time, entry-level role that will provide you with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the childcare industry and complete your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting qualified Educators in the care and supervision of children aged 0-5 years
  • Engaging children in educational and recreational activities to support their cognitive, physical, social and emotional development
  • Ensuring a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for all children
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation as required
  • Participating in staff meetings and training sessions to continuously improve your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

  • A passion for working with young children and a genuine desire to support their learning and development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • Willingness to learn and a commitment to completing your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle the diverse needs of children in our care
  • A current Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain one
