About Modern Medicine

Modern Medicine is a locally owned business that started in 2008 and operates a multidisciplinary clinic in the leafy streets of the Victorian Highland's Ballarat City.

In addition to Physiotherapy, we offer Poditary, Psychology, Exercise Physiology, Dietetics and Myotherapy. We work together as a team sharing patients over the modalities offered and in conjunction with medical centres requiring our expertise for a range of conditions.

As clinicians, we work together as a team and community, helping each other and being guided by more experienced team members and teaching the less experienced.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Manage a varied caseload including musculoskeletal and rehab patients
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients, and improve their well-being
  • Refer or cross-refer to other health practitioners
  • Follow treatment protocols from surgeons and doctors
  • Provide hydrotherapy
  • Lead exercise/rehab classes
  • Work within a team

This is for a subcontractor or part-time position, but for the right match full-time will be considered.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 15 – 38 per week
