About the role:
Astellas is searching for an ambitious Senior Brand Manager in Medical Specialties to join our team As a Senior Brand Manager, you will develop and implement commercial strategies and programs that will ultimately increase value to our patients. Reporting to the Business Unit Head, the successful candidate will be leading and managing the annual commercial planning cycle which will include execution analysis and sales forecasts.
The newly appointed Senior Brand Manager will be gearing up with an established team for the launch of a new medicine.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Champion and relentlessly pursue meaningful high-value customer experience
* Develop deep market and customer insights and programs to exceed strategic and performance brand objectives
* Responsible for P&L of Primary Care assigned brand(s) and meeting/exceeding commercial KPIs
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in marketing brand management with significant decision-and P&L responsibilities
* Demonstrated MCE marketing
* Demonstrated leadership/influence without authority
* Record of successful relationships and Key External Expert (KEE) management
* Exceptional data, analytical, business prioritization, and planning skills
* Strong project management skills
* High comfort and agility with technologies
* Highly curious high learning agility and orientation
* Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
* Advanced understanding of the relevant therapeutic area(s)
* Flexible, customer-focused, and determined attitude
* Solution-oriented and effective problem-solving skills
Education/Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Marketing and/or Business
* Life Sciences/Pharmacy qualifications preferred
