Veterinary Nurse

Greencross Minchinbury is a fast-paced GP clinic with a great clientele in the lively and growing community of Western Sydney. Minchinbury is equipped with IM3 dental, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, Bair Hugger, separate sterile surgery, separate imaging room and separate cat ward. Most conveniently we are a co-location clinic, on-site at a busy Petbarn store - we love having these guys next door and our clients love having all they need under one roof

About your New Job:

• Part time role - Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and possible Saturdays
• Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
• Performing minor procedures when required
• Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment

About your skill level and experience:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with 2+ years' Veterinary Nursing experience
• Confident and passionate about training and guiding nurse students
• Excellent animal handling skills
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
• Confident with monitoring procedures and anesthetics 
• Outstanding organisational, communication and customer service skills
• Flexible and adaptable within a team environment
• Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential
