About the role

Act Studios & Granny Flats is seeking a talented Sales Consultant to join our team in our Mitchell, ACT office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for selling our premium range of granny flats and studios to customers across the region.

What you'll be doing

  • Actively engaging with prospective customers to understand their needs and requirements

  • Providing expert advice and guidance on our product range and customisation options

  • Preparing detailed proposals and quotes for customers

  • Negotiating contracts and closing sales

  • Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of market trends, competitor activity and customer preferences

  • Service leads and maintain CRM software

  • Understand and apply local approvals legislation for building granny flats and studios in the ACT & Surrounds

  • Generating new leads through networking, referrals and other sales activities

  • Collaborating with our design and construction teams to ensure customer satisfaction

What we're looking for

  • Proven track record in a sales role within the construction or home building industry. 5 years preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

  • Keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills

  • Relevant industry qualifications or certifications are highly desirable
