Qualifications & experience

  • Electrical license is required for this position.
  • Previous electrical team leading experience in the water industry would be beneficial although not a prerequisite as training will be provided.
  • The ability to understand electrical schematics which encompass motor control, instrumentation and PLC systems is a requirement.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Work in collaboration with the PTAS Site Supervisor and engineering and design team to ensure a quality product is delivered.
  • Lead and mentor PTAS's talented staff carrying out installation and commissioning of electrical control systems in Water/Wastewater infrastructure networks and plants ensuring safety, quality and environmental standards are adhered to.
  • Use your leadership skills to train our future generation of electrical staff.
  • Liase with our Site Supervisor ensuring documentation meets the highest standards for safety, quality and the environment.
