About The Role
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented entry level Payroll/Accounts/Administrator to join our team at Hope Valley. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing both weekly and fortnightly employees across Australia. This role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and a proactive approach to problem-solving while working closely with Finance, HR, and branch teams nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with processing end-to-end payroll for over 1,000 weekly and fortnightly employees across Australia
  • Maintain and update employee records accurately across multiple systems
  • Handling payroll queries, processing adjustments and terminations
  • Contribute to statutory month-end tasks including PAYG, Superannuation, Payroll Tax, and Child Support
  • Collaborate with Finance, HR, and branch teams nationwide to ensure smooth payroll operations

What We Are Looking For

  • Highly organized and able to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with a genuine interest in working with numbers
  • A team player with clear and confident communication skills
  • Eager to learn and grow—experience with payroll or accounting systems is a bonus, but not essential
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel (we love spreadsheets)

Mandatory Requirements

  • Ability to work onsite at Hope Valley
  • Current National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
